Methods of Payment

It's really good to know that every time you buy Trutex schoolwear, you're helping the people who made it.

When will my order be sent?

Orders placed before 2:00pm will usually be dispatched the same day, but please allow ten days.
Orders placed after 2:00pm Friday and during the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. 

In the event that an item is out of stock we will inform when we dispatch the rest of your order, with an estimated delivery date for the missing item.  The missing items will be dispatched separately at our expense when they return in stock.  If you prefer not to wait, contact us and we will cancel the remaining part of the order.

Please make sure you give us the correct address to send your order to.  Replacements and refunds will not be given if you have given us the wrong address.


How will my order be sent?

United Kingdom

Orders are sent by Royal Mail and should reach you in 1-5 working days.  Heavier orders may be sent by Parcel courier and are usually delivered on the next working day.

Outside of the UK.

Please contact us for details and prices of deliveries outside of the UK.

Postage & packing costs

The postage and packing charge is available in First Class and Standard Class and is irrespective of parcel size or order value. First Class delivery is charged at £5.50 and Standard Class (Second Class) at £3.50. Please note that both are only forms of delivery, not guarenteed delivery times, so if we are out of stock of a product and it takes longer to arrive to us, we will send it upon delivery via the selected class. 
(We will only charge you once for postage and packing , even if we need to despatch multiple parcels to complete your order.)

When we charge your card

Your card is charged at the full order value at the checkout.

 Order not arrived?

Please check the estimated delivery time and then add three working days in case of delays in transit.  Once this delivery time has passed you should contact your local Royal Mail depot giving your house number and postcode as cards are not always left.  After you have followed these steps and the Royal Mail have confirmed they do not have your order, you must contact us within 30 days in writing. We reserve the right to send replacement orders 10 days after you received your 'Order dispatched' email.  This is to allow the Royal Mail time to investigate your lost order.

If your order is returned to us because you did not pick it up from the delivery office after a failed delivery attempt, you will be required to pay the delivery cost to re-send the item.


Items returned under our 14 day guarantee

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, just send it back to us in an unused, saleable condition with the original packaging and we’ll refund. Please note that postage costs are only refundable if we have made a mistake, refunds and exchanges are returned at your cost.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to us. If the item is being returned because of an error on our part, or the item is damaged or defective, we will refund the return postage costs.


Items returned to us after fail delivery attempt

If your order is returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt by the Royal Mail or Courier Company, you will be responsible for paying for your order to be redelivered.  If you do not want to pay for your order to be redelivered, we will refund your order minus the original postage costs. 


Exchanging non faulty items

If you are unhappy with any items and would like to exchange them for a different product, return them to us and we will issue you with a refund (see our 14 day guarantee). As we do not keep your payment information you will need to create a new order with the items you want and pay as normal.

You will be responsible for paying all delivery costs of exchanged items.


Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or the item is damaged or defective, we will refund the return postage costs.  Please use standard 2nd class post with proof of posting for items under 1kg in weight, and standard parcel delivery for items over 1kg. If you return the items any other way, you will be liable to pay any extra postage costs incured.

We will only refund the return postage costs of faulty items. If you are returning non faulty items you will be responsible for paying the cost to return these.


How to return an item to us

You will be responsible for returning the goods to us, and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach us. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate should be obtained when returning any part of you order. Certificates are available free of charge from the post office or you may prefer to send it recorded delivery for a nominal charge.

Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival.


Please contact us first to let us know you will be returning any item(s), and make sure you use packaging that will protect the goods in transit as we can only refund or exchange items that arrive at easy nappies in the same condition you received them.
